 SI MA BO is led by an engaged Board Of Directors, these members work to ensure the care and protection of the local animal population based in the city of Mindelo, on the island of Sao Vicente in Cape Verde.

VICE PRESIDENT - ALCIDES RAMOS, has been the managing director of the oldest pharmacy 
in Mindelo for more than 40 years

SECRETARY - SONIA RODRIGUES, one of the oldest employees of SIMABO, is in charge of the 
clinical notes of the dewormed, neutered/spayed and microchipped animals

TREASURER - TATIANA RODRIGUES, 
former empoloyee of SIMABO and now volunteering when needed

BOARD MEMBER - VANIRA LIMA, has got 11 dogs at home

BOARD MEMBER - NANDA FONSECA, our incredible nurse, has got 7 dogs at home

BOARD MEMBER - LILIA KALASHNIKOVA, one of our most active volunteers, 
has got 18 cats and 8 dogs at home, all rescued from the street.
